The Saltbox House Project

It began with a phone call, and became one of our favorite projects to date.  The Saltbox House project we call it now.  Over 30 years ago a gentleman from Connecticut moved to Franktown, CO.  He didn't come alone, piece by piece, he brought his home with him, and rebuilt it in Franktown, CO.

Just recently in April of 2013 Cakeheads had the pleasure of recreating his home with cake.  It was his 70th birthday and wow, did he get a surprise.

The replica house is 99% edible, right down to the doorknobs!
